At our gourmet hotel in Austria, traditional recipes are reimagined with a modern touch and lovingly prepared as our signature "Kessel Dishes". Both young and grown-up food lovers will smile when tender lamb with zucchini-tomato vegetables and creamy polenta, or Salzburg beer-braised beef with homemade bread dumplings, is served in rustic kettles. True to the saying that love goes through the stomach, our head chef creates each dish with care, using high-quality, wholesome ingredients from the region — always in harmony with the season.

In the evenings, s’Kessei transforms into a cozy bar for relaxed get-togethers (exclusively in winter).

The rustic vaulted wine cellar is the passion of your host, Johann Thurner, a young sommelier who personally selects our wines.

Kesselgrub’s All-Inclusive Dining

Our all-inclusive dining for hotel guests includes a generous breakfast buffet, a light lunch, an afternoon snack includig coffee and cake, ice cream for children, and in the evening a gourmet menu with a choice of regional, or international dishes. Guests may also enjoy unlimited refreshments from Kesselgrub’s juice bar as well as coffee and tea all day.
